Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with curriculum standards
  • Lead and mentor a team of English teachers, providing guidance and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement innovative teaching strategies
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues to ensure student success
  • Stay current with educational trends and integrate technology into teaching practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in secondary education
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective English lessons
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development and assessment practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents

Preferred

  • Leadership experience or interest in taking on a Head of Department role
  • Experience with curriculum leadership or department management
  • Familiarity with international curricula such as IGCSE or A Level
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and innovation in teaching
