The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and development. You will work closely with teachers to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment, helping to drive student attainment and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and managing classroom activities.
- Assist in the supervision and care of students during lessons, breaks, and other school activities.
- Help students with their learning, providing one-on-one or small group support as needed.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Communicate regularly with teachers and parents to ensure consistent support for students.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of classroom resources and materials.
- Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best academically and personally.
- Assist in the marking and assessment of student work under the guidance of teaching staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational setting, either as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Experience in working with children of various ages and abilities.
- Knowledge of teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques.
