The Opportunity:

As Assistant Head Co-Curricular and Partnerships, you will play a key role in shaping the co-curricular and enrichment experience for students. This is a strategic leadership role that drives innovation and inclusivity in extracurricular programs, partnerships, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a dynamic co-curricular program that supports student development and academic success.
  • Strengthen partnerships with external organizations and local community groups to enhance student opportunities.
  • Ensure the school's eco-commitment is embedded across co-curricular activities and educational visits.
  • Lead and manage the House system, including charitable initiatives and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align co-curricular activities with the school’s strategic goals.
  • Support the development of student leadership and personal growth through structured opportunities.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of educational visits and outward-facing events.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity and accessibility in all co-curricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a middle or senior leadership role within education.
  • Successful teaching experience across the 11–18 age range, including A Level.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high pupil achievement and drive student engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead with empathy and confidence.
  • Experience in managing co-curricular and enrichment programs.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and managing partnerships with external organizations.
  • Background in leading community engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in eco-education or sustainability programs.
  • Familiarity with House systems and student welfare initiatives.
