The Opportunity:
As Assistant Head Co-Curricular and Partnerships, you will play a key role in shaping the co-curricular and enrichment experience for students. This is a strategic leadership role that drives innovation and inclusivity in extracurricular programs, partnerships, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a dynamic co-curricular program that supports student development and academic success.
- Strengthen partnerships with external organizations and local community groups to enhance student opportunities.
- Ensure the school's eco-commitment is embedded across co-curricular activities and educational visits.
- Lead and manage the House system, including charitable initiatives and community engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align co-curricular activities with the school’s strategic goals.
- Support the development of student leadership and personal growth through structured opportunities.
- Oversee the planning and execution of educational visits and outward-facing events.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity and accessibility in all co-curricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a middle or senior leadership role within education.
- Successful teaching experience across the 11–18 age range, including A Level.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high pupil achievement and drive student engagement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead with empathy and confidence.
- Experience in managing co-curricular and enrichment programs.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and managing partnerships with external organizations.
- Background in leading community engagement initiatives.
- Experience in eco-education or sustainability programs.
- Familiarity with House systems and student welfare initiatives.
