The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team and support the development of children aged 2 to 5 years. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care.
- Work closely with the teaching team to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s development and activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to teaching and learning.
- Promote positive behaviour and ensure the health and safety of all children.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant early years qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with children aged 2 to 5 years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when required.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or early years setting.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Experience with supporting children with additional needs.
- Experience in mentoring or coaching other staff members.
