The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team and support the development of children aged 2 to 5 years. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care.
  • Work closely with the teaching team to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s development and activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Promote positive behaviour and ensure the health and safety of all children.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant early years qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with children aged 2 to 5 years.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when required.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Experience with supporting children with additional needs.
  • Experience in mentoring or coaching other staff members.
