The Opportunity:

As a SEND Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative needs of a large SEND cohort. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to making a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update SEND records for a large number of pupils
  • Manage and track EHCPs and statutory deadlines
  • Act as the first point of contact for SEND administrative inquiries
  • Support the SENDCo with referrals, reports, and data analysis
  • Coordinate meetings and multi-agency communications
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and maintain confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with families, staff, and external partners
  • Prioritise a busy workload and adapt to changing demands

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational, IT, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and professionalism
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and safeguarding of children

Preferred

  • Experience in a SEND-related administrative role
  • Familiarity with statutory requirements and GDPR compliance
  • Experience with data analysis and report preparation
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
