Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in History and Geography aligned with the UK curriculum.
  • Support the academic growth and personal development of students through innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Prepare and assess students' work in line with the school's high standards and curriculum requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Experience or suitability for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for History and Geography
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching A Level History or Geography
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students effectively
  • Experience working in a school with a strong emphasis on arts and sports
