We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support curriculum delivery across a range of subjects. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to making a positive impact on young learners and is eager to grow professionally within a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning by providing additional cover for classes.
  • Assist in the delivery of curriculum content across various subjects.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure a consistent and effective learning experience.
  • Help to develop and implement individual learning plans for students with additional needs.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students requiring extra assistance.
  • Contribute to the school’s positive and inclusive culture.
  • Participate in staff development and training programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a similar support role within an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently as well as part of a team.
  • Commitment to supporting the learning and development of all students.
  • Experience working with children of varying abilities and needs.

Preferred

  • Experience in primary education.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and practices.
  • Experience with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Experience with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Familiarity with educational software and tools.
