The Opportunity:

Join a school dedicated to shaping young learners through a student-centred, inquiry-based approach. As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in developing the academic and personal growth of students in Years 3–6, while contributing to a dynamic and values-driven educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Integrate project-based learning, outdoor education, and experiential learning into classroom activities.
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.
  • Develop and facilitate inquiry-driven learning experiences that promote transdisciplinary connections.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform teaching strategies.
  • Promote the school’s guiding principles and core values through daily interactions and teaching practices.
  • Prioritise student wellbeing and collaborate with the Early Years team to support holistic development.
  • Contribute to the After School Activities Programme by leading clubs or workshops.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree in Education, with preference for a Master’s or PhD.
  • Experience teaching in primary education with a strong record in teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in Spanish, Swedish, or German is an asset.
  • Familiarity with international curricula such as the Cambridge Early Years Foundation Stage or IB PYP.

Preferred

  • Experience with values-based education and character development.
  • Experience with teaching and learning technologies that foster future-ready skills.
  • A modern, progressive approach to research-based teaching and learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, international school community.
