The Opportunity:
The Head of Digital Innovation will lead the school’s digital vision, ensuring it remains innovative and aligned with international best practices in educational technology. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who wants to shape the future of learning through digital leadership and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the school's IT infrastructure.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the school's IT systems and data.
- Develop and implement a long-term IT strategy to support the school's educational and operational goals.
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons in Digital Literacy and integrate technology across the curriculum.
- Support the teaching team with the integration of modern technologies to enhance learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver interdisciplinary teaching and learning programs.
- Provide comprehensive IT training, support, and troubleshooting for the entire school community.
- Lead the development of co-curricular programs such as robotics and coding clubs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in education with a specialism in IT, Computing, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience managing school IT systems, policies, and procedures.
- 2–3 years of teaching experience in an international or British school setting.
- Experience with international curricula such as the IB MYP or Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred
- A Master’s degree or PhD in education or a related field.
- Experience with educational systems such as Veracross, Toddle, or Google Workspace for Education.
- Experience with AI-powered tools and adaptive learning platforms.
- Fluency in Spanish, Swedish, or German.
