The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Economics and Business Management Teacher (Part-Time) to join our Social Sciences department and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the IB curriculum. This role offers an opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a school committed to academic excellence, personal growth, and global citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Economics and Business Management lessons to students at the Further Education stage.
  • Align teaching with the IB curriculum and ensure students meet required academic standards.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that respects diversity and promotes student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Support students’ intellectual curiosity and personal development through meaningful interactions.
  • Stay current with developments in Economics and Business Management education and integrate them into teaching.
  • Uphold the school’s values of respect, integrity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through professional development and extracurricular involvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant honours degree and PGCE (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Economics and Business Management at IB level (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an international environment
  • Experience teaching students from diverse cultural, language, and educational backgrounds
  • Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures
  • Commitment to equal opportunities and inclusion
