The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Economics and Business Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support students in achieving academic success. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive pastoral team and contribute to the school’s vibrant academic and extracurricular environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Economics and Business lessons up to A-Level, with occasional support for Key Stage 3 Humanities.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all students, including EAL learners, and integrate digital technology into lessons.
• Track student progress using data to provide targeted feedback and set ambitious academic targets.
• Act as a Form Tutor, delivering PSHE and supporting the personal development of students.
• Lead and participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment clubs.
• Manage resources, attend parents' evenings, and contribute to departmental meetings.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or B.Ed).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching the British Curriculum (GCSE and A-Level).
• Strong subject knowledge in Economics and Business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, positive attitude with a sense of humor.

Preferred

• Experience in international or multicultural educational settings.
• Ability to teach a second Humanities subject.
