The Opportunity:

As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality English education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will support students in achieving academic success, while also contributing to a dynamic and innovative learning environment that values both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated English lessons for all abilities, including EAL students.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams with focused and effective teaching strategies.
• Integrate educational technology into the curriculum to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Serve as a Form Tutor and deliver the PSHE programme, supporting student well-being and personal development.
• Lead English-related enrichment activities such as debating, creative writing, and school publications.
• Manage departmental resources and track student data to set and monitor academic targets.
• Participate in school events, trips, and meetings to contribute to the wider life of the school.
• Support the school's mission to provide a forward-looking and inclusive education for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/B.Ed)
• Minimum of 3 years teaching the British Curriculum
• Expertise in English across all Key Stages (3–5)
• High level of ICT proficiency
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience teaching a second subject
• Experience working in a multicultural or international school setting
