The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Economics and Business Teacher to inspire students at KS4 and KS5. This role offers the chance to shape young minds and help students understand the relevance of Economics and Business in the real world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Economics and Business lessons at KS4 and KS5.
  • Inspire students to pursue Economics and Business as subjects at relevant Key Stages.
  • Encourage students to see the real-world relevance of the subject matter.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and support student learning.
  • Support the school’s values, including respect, creativity, and community.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Economics and Business.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Economics and Business.
  • Experience teaching Economics and/or Business Studies at KS4 and KS5.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and mission.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering curriculum content.
  • Background in extra-curricular leadership or involvement.
  • Experience with sixth-form teaching and pastoral care.
  • Familiarity with independent school environments.
