Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Economics to A Level students in a small class setting.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that promote critical thinking and independent learning.
- Support students both inside and outside the classroom through personalized guidance.
- Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum and teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance student outcomes.
- Stay up to date with developments in the Economics field and incorporate them into teaching.
- Prepare students for public exams while fostering a genuine appreciation of the subject.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Economics.
- Ability to teach Economics to A Level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student-centered learning and academic excellence.
- Experience in a UK curriculum setting is preferred.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Business to A Level.
- Familiarity with IGCSE Economics curriculum.
- Experience working in a school with a strong pastoral care ethos.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in a school that values innovation and creativity in teaching.
