Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Economics lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate (DP) curriculum
Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and academic excellence
Design and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of students across Further Education stages
Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and student development
Promote critical thinking and real-world application of economic principles
Provide individualised support to students to enhance their academic and personal growth
Stay current with developments in Economics and education practices
Participate in professional development and continuous learning initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Relevant Honours Degree and PGCE (or equivalent)
Previous teaching experience; enthusiasm for education is essential
Strong knowledge of Economics concepts suitable for IB curricula (DP)
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to engage diverse learners and plan effective lessons for different age groups

Preferred

Experience with the International Baccalaureate (DP) programme
Strong understanding of global economic issues and their real-world implications
Experience in fostering inclusive and collaborative classroom environments
