The Opportunity:
Join a vibrant international summer school as an EFL Teacher and help inspire young learners aged 8–17. Deliver engaging English lessons that combine academic rigor with fun and cultural experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver bespoke, level-appropriate English lessons
- Maintain accurate records, including registers, assessments, and student progress
- Support students through placement testing and academic guidance
- Accompany students on social events, excursions, and activities
- Collaborate with the Director of Studies to ensure alignment with academic goals
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Engage in professional development and team meetings
- Provide feedback and support to students for continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A TEFL-I qualification or equivalent (e.g., CELTA, CertTESOL)
- Experience teaching English as a foreign or second language
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support a diverse student body
- Flexibility to work during the summer months and attend evening events
Preferred
- Experience teaching children aged 8–17
- Familiarity with international education settings
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and learning
- Experience with activity-based and experiential learning methods
- Knowledge of British culture or an interest in sharing it with students
