The Opportunity:
As a Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the school by managing accounts receivable processes. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and driven to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise and manage sales invoices for students and clients
- Monitor and resolve customer queries related to accounts receivable
- Maintain and update the Schools Database with accurate financial information
- Assist in bank reconciliations and financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain client templates and sales ledger records
- Track and reconcile payments received and balances due on client accounts
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding funds and resolve any payment issues
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new financial processes
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in credit control and accounts receivable management
- Proven experience working in a finance team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Excel skills and experience handling large data sets
- GCSE Maths and English Language qualification (Grade 4 or equivalent)
Preferred
- Experience in implementing new financial processes
- Background in the education or care sector
- Experience with financial software and accounting systems
- A flexible and adaptable approach with a “can-do” attitude
- Experience with customer service and client relationship management
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £31,220 - £34,860
