The Opportunity:

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the school by managing accounts receivable processes. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and driven to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise and manage sales invoices for students and clients
  • Monitor and resolve customer queries related to accounts receivable
  • Maintain and update the Schools Database with accurate financial information
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Prepare and maintain client templates and sales ledger records
  • Track and reconcile payments received and balances due on client accounts
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding funds and resolve any payment issues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new financial processes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in credit control and accounts receivable management
  • Proven experience working in a finance team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel skills and experience handling large data sets
  • GCSE Maths and English Language qualification (Grade 4 or equivalent)

Preferred

  • Experience in implementing new financial processes
  • Background in the education or care sector
  • Experience with financial software and accounting systems
  • A flexible and adaptable approach with a “can-do” attitude
  • Experience with customer service and client relationship management
