As an Elementary Homeroom Teacher (Maternity Cover, Apr-Jun), you will play a key role in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. You will help shape young minds through inquiry-based learning and contribute to a dynamic, international educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a successful program by creating an educational atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Deliver a rigorous, inquiry-based curriculum aligned with international standards.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Support student well-being and academic growth through personalized instruction and guidance.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to student performance and behavior.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Valid teaching qualification or certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the elementary level.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
- Proficiency in English and a second language.
- Experience with inquiry-based learning and student-centered teaching methods.
- Experience with digital learning tools and online platforms.
