Key Responsibilities:

• Create a learning environment that supports ongoing reflection and student engagement.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure student success and well-being.
• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, including EAL students.
• Organise and manage classroom displays and materials in line with school guidelines.
• Arrange and lead external learning opportunities, such as outdoor trips and excursions.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and goal-setting.
• Prepare and present engaging class assemblies and performances.
• Contribute to the extracurricular programme, offering a wide range of activities.
• Provide pastoral care and support, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school events, including some weekends and evenings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• At least two years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, along with a Professional Teaching Qualification (e.g., PGDE, PGCE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma) or a valid Teacher License/QTS.
• Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Ability to support EAL learners with effective teaching strategies.
• Willingness to teach a range of subjects including Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities, or Creative Arts across year levels.
• Experience with inquiry-based and subject learning approaches.

Preferred

• Experience working in international schools.
