The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a learning environment that supports ongoing reflection and student engagement.
- Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure student success and well-being.
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, including EAL students.
- Organise and manage classroom displays and materials in line with school guidelines.
- Arrange and lead external learning opportunities, such as outdoor trips and excursions.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and goal-setting.
- Prepare and present engaging class assemblies and performances.
- Contribute to the extracurricular programme, offering a wide range of activities.
- Provide pastoral care and support, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school events, including some weekends and evenings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- At least two years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, along with a Professional Teaching Qualification (e.g., PGDE, PGCE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma) or a valid Teacher License/QTS.
- Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Ability to support EAL learners with effective teaching strategies.
- Willingness to teach a range of subjects including Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities, or Creative Arts across year levels.
- Experience with inquiry-based and subject learning approaches.
Preferred
- Experience working in international schools.
- Demonstrated passion for education and a commitment to inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
