The Opportunity:
As an International Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping young minds and fostering a love of learning. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education within a globally recognized curriculum that emphasizes inquiry-based learning and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of all children.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular reports to parents and the Principal.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver long-term educational programs and school-wide initiatives.
- Support the school’s commitment to equal opportunities and cultural inclusivity.
- Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe, tidy, and well-organized learning space.
- Build strong relationships with parents and communicate effectively about student development and school activities.
- Participate in professional development and in-service training to enhance teaching practices and personal growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- At least 2–5 years of relevant professional teaching experience in early childhood education.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Education, or equivalent, from a recognized institution.
- Valid teaching certificates, diplomas, or accreditation if the degree is not in Education.
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and the Reggio Emilia approach.
- Ability to provide original copies of academic transcripts and qualifications for verification.
Preferred
- Experience with IB PYP or IPC curriculum and training.
- International teaching experience, particularly in Asia.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
