The Opportunity:

As an Elementary Inclusion Teacher, you will provide specialized support to students with additional needs, working closely with teachers, parents, and external services. This role is essential in ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to the needs of students with additional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in small group or one-on-one settings.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and respect.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching at the elementary level.
• Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or equivalent police clearance.

Preferred

• Experience working with students with additional needs or special educational needs.
• Familiarity with inclusive education practices and curriculum adaptation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in a school setting with a strong emphasis on inclusion and innovation.
