The Opportunity:

As an Elementary School Interventionist, you will play a vital role in supporting students who need additional academic help. You will design and implement targeted strategies to help students overcome learning challenges and succeed in their studies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student learning needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to create and monitor student progress
  • Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify learning gaps and track improvement
  • Provide targeted instruction in literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects
  • Communicate regularly with parents and teachers to ensure consistent student support
  • Utilize educational technology tools to enhance instruction and assessment
  • Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and interventions

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an interventionist or in a similar learning support role within an elementary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies for literacy, numeracy, and core subjects
  • Ability to conduct formal and informal assessments of student needs
  • Experience working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and specialists

Preferred

  • Experience with individualized learning plan development
  • Proficiency in using educational technology for instruction and assessment
  • Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes through targeted interventions
  • Experience in a school setting with a focus on inclusivity and student growth
