Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a well-structured, curriculum-focused teaching plan.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and share best teaching strategies.
- Support student progress through regular assessment, feedback, and personalized interventions.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
- Stay up to date with developments in English education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English at KS3–4.
- Experience in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Familiarity with evidence-informed teaching practices.
- Experience with pastoral care or student support.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities related to English or literature.
