Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum across a range of sporting activities, with a particular focus on football and rugby.
  • Inspire and motivate students of all abilities, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of an engaging extracurricular programme.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider life of the school and promote the values of kindness, respect, and determination.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring that all students are supported to reach their full potential.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and personal growth.
  • Stay up to date with developments in PE and sport, and implement innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Physical Education.
  • Experience of teaching across all key stages.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and student support.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in football and rugby coaching.
  • Experience in delivering extracurricular sporting activities.
  • Familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
