Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in the classroom by providing individualized assistance and guidance.
• Assist in planning and delivering learning activities tailored to student needs.
• Monitor and support student behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement inclusive learning strategies.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and reporting.
• Contribute to school events and activities that promote student engagement and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant qualification in education or a related field.
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to the values of kindness, respect, and determination.
• Ability to work flexibly and independently within a team environment.

Preferred

• Experience in special educational needs support.
• Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies.
• Experience with curriculum development or classroom support.
• Familiarity with educational software and tools.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary based on NJC Grade 4 Points 5-6.
• Term-time only employment with inset days included.
• Flexible working hours from 8.30am to 3.00pm, including lunch duties.
