Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in the classroom by providing individualized assistance and guidance.
- Assist in planning and delivering learning activities tailored to student needs.
- Monitor and support student behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement inclusive learning strategies.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and reporting.
- Contribute to school events and activities that promote student engagement and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant qualification in education or a related field.
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to the values of kindness, respect, and determination.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently within a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience in special educational needs support.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development or classroom support.
- Familiarity with educational software and tools.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on NJC Grade 4 Points 5-6.
- Term-time only employment with inset days included.
- Flexible working hours from 8.30am to 3.00pm, including lunch duties.
