Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English to students across Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A-Level, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Deliver engaging, innovative lessons that align with the school's curriculum and promote student achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school’s English programme and pedagogical practices.
  • Support students of varying English abilities, ensuring inclusive and effective learning experiences.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents, students, and colleagues to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and community initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school through active involvement in departmental and institutional goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to teach English at Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A-Level.
  • Proven experience teaching English to students with a range of abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for English teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, international school environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IPC curriculum in Primary education.
  • Familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level qualifications.
  • Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
  • Background in child protection and safeguarding practices.
