Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the English curriculum across the school with clear targets and outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that support pupils with SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties.
• Safeguard and promote pupil welfare in line with statutory guidance.
• Support colleagues in improving English-related school outcomes and best practices.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, communicating effectively with parents and carers.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Relevant English qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Preferred

• Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Experience in developing and leading curriculum initiatives.
• Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
