Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE).
  • Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or literacy support.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching and learning.
  • Experience in delivering CPD sessions or mentoring new teachers.
  • Demonstrable success in improving student attainment and engagement.
