The Opportunity:
As a Maths Tutor, you will provide targeted support to students, helping them achieve their full potential in mathematics. This is a casual role, offering flexibility with hours as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in small groups or one-to-one to improve their maths skills.
- Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and the school.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to high academic achievement and student well-being.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in maths education.
- Strong knowledge of maths curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Ability to work flexibly with varying hours as required.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student success and a positive learning environment.
Preferred
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly within a multi-academy trust.
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities.
- Passion for maths education and inspiring student achievement.
