The Opportunity:

As a Maths Tutor, you will provide targeted support to students, helping them achieve their full potential in mathematics. This is a casual role, offering flexibility with hours as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in small groups or one-to-one to improve their maths skills.
  • Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Track student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and the school.
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to high academic achievement and student well-being.
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in maths education.
  • Strong knowledge of maths curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Ability to work flexibly with varying hours as required.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a positive learning environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Previous experience in a school setting, particularly within a multi-academy trust.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities.
  • Passion for maths education and inspiring student achievement.
