The Opportunity:

As a Learning Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning and student engagement during teacher absences. This is an impactful position where you will deliver pre-prepared activities, support wellbeing, and contribute to a positive learning culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise whole classes and deliver set learning activities
  • Maintain accurate registers and provide clear feedback to teachers
  • Support positive behaviour, wellbeing and student engagement
  • Work with students 1:1 or in small groups where needed
  • Assist with implementing support and behaviour plans
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff
  • Stay organised and use initiative to ensure smooth classroom management
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication skills with students and staff
  • Organised, confident and able to use your own initiative
  • Reliable, positive and calm under pressure
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and support student learning

Preferred

  • Experience in education or teaching
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Experience with student support plans
  • Familiarity with educational software and tools
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
