Teacher of Engineering Technology needed for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Engineering Technology to students aged 11 to 16.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets and exceeds national standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning across the department.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and trips that support student development and engagement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate relevant technologies into teaching.
- Contribute to the wider school community through professional development and staff collaboration.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through pastoral care and mentorship.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching Engineering Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons.
- Commitment to student progress and achievement.
Preferred
- Experience with vocational or technical education.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools used in Engineering Technology.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for inspiring students and promoting STEM subjects.
