You will inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3-5, contributing to a dynamic and innovative teaching team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Dance across Key Stages 3-5, ensuring students are engaged and challenged.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and national standards.
• Contribute to the development and design of the Dance curriculum and wider performing arts offerings.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through effective assessment and intervention strategies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and creative learning environment.
• Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral care and support to students.
• Monitor and analyze student performance data to inform teaching and learning strategies.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in teaching Dance across Key Stages 3-5.
• Strong subject knowledge in Dance and the performing arts.
• Ability to plan, deliver, and assess lessons effectively.
• Commitment to the school’s values: ambition, kindness, resilience, and respect.
• Experience in working with diverse student groups, including those with special educational needs.

Preferred

• Experience in curriculum design and development within the arts.
• Background in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of the performing arts.
