The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher KS3 to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about teaching and committed to student success. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an engaging and effective curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons to Key Stage 3 students
• Plan and prepare engaging and challenging lesson plans
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum
• Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
• Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
• A recognised teaching qualification: BEd.; PGCE; iPGCE or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 English
• Good knowledge of the UK-based curriculum
• Sound understanding of assessment requirements for KS3 English
• Fluency in English

Preferred

• Previous experience in an international school environment
• Experience teaching learners with English as an Additional Language
