The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and smooth running of internal and external examinations. This is a vital position that supports the academic success of students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Invigilate internal and external examinations in a fair and professional manner.
Support students with SEND during examinations as required.
Ensure compliance with examination regulations and procedures.
Maintain a secure and focused environment throughout the examination process.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and senior leadership as needed.
Assist with the preparation and organization of examination materials.
Follow all health and safety protocols during examination periods.
Provide accurate and timely reporting of any incidents or concerns.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Experience in exam invigilation or similar roles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

Experience working in an educational setting.
Familiarity with examination systems and procedures.
Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
Flexibility to work during exam periods and occasional evenings or weekends.
