The Opportunity:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and smooth running of internal and external examinations. This is a vital position that supports the academic success of students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invigilate internal and external examinations in a fair and professional manner.
- Support students with SEND during examinations as required.
- Ensure compliance with examination regulations and procedures.
- Maintain a secure and focused environment throughout the examination process.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and senior leadership as needed.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of examination materials.
- Follow all health and safety protocols during examination periods.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of any incidents or concerns.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in exam invigilation or similar roles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with examination systems and procedures.
- Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
- Flexibility to work during exam periods and occasional evenings or weekends.
