The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and smooth running of internal and external examinations. This is a vital position that supports the academic success of students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invigilate internal and external examinations in a fair and professional manner.
  • Support students with SEND during examinations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with examination regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain a secure and focused environment throughout the examination process.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and senior leadership as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of examination materials.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols during examination periods.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of any incidents or concerns.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in exam invigilation or similar roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with examination systems and procedures.
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Flexibility to work during exam periods and occasional evenings or weekends.
