Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Geography, History or RE.
  • Support students in achieving excellent academic results at Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
  • Engage with students, parents and the wider school community.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography, History or RE.
  • Experience in teaching at Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering examination qualifications.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and pedagogical practices.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
