The Opportunity:

As an Examinations Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s examination systems and procedures in line with JCQ guidelines. This is a vital position that contributes directly to maintaining high standards and ensuring smooth administrative processes across the academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee examination systems and procedures in accordance with JCQ guidelines.
  • Support staff training to ensure all examination processes are followed correctly.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, Bromcom, and Bromcom Exams Organiser efficiently to manage data and processes.
  • Work closely with the Exams Manager to ensure consistency and compliance across all departments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure all examination documentation is accurate, up to date, and meets the school’s high standards.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues related to examination administration.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of examination systems and processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in examinations administration or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bromcom systems.
  • Understanding of JCQ guidelines and examination procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards and the school’s vision and values.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of the context in which the school operates.
  • Experience with staff training and development.
