Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to EYFS and Key Stage 1 students.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans that support student progress and achievement.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners to support student development.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing detailed feedback and next steps.
- Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and events that promote the school’s mission and values.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in EYFS and Key Stage 1 education.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 curricula.
- Experience in delivering effective, inclusive, and engaging teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s mission of "Excellence for All."
Preferred
- Experience working in a multi-ethnic, inclusive school environment.
- Familiarity with the Dunraven Educational Trust’s values and approach to education.
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support others in a team setting.
