Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to EYFS and Key Stage 1 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans that support student progress and achievement.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners to support student development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing detailed feedback and next steps.
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives and events that promote the school’s mission and values.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in EYFS and Key Stage 1 education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 curricula.
  • Experience in delivering effective, inclusive, and engaging teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission of "Excellence for All."

Preferred

  • Experience working in a multi-ethnic, inclusive school environment.
  • Familiarity with the Dunraven Educational Trust’s values and approach to education.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support others in a team setting.
