The Opportunity:

As an EYFS Assistant Headteacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Department in managing and developing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This position offers the opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to a dynamic, international educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the EYFS curriculum in line with UK standards
• Support the Head of Department in leading and improving teaching standards across the Early Years team
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and leadership to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
• Provide professional guidance and mentorship to Early Years staff
• Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure continuous improvement
• Implement and maintain effective administrative systems for learning and teaching support
• Promote an inclusive and safe environment for all children
• Stay up to date with best practices in early childhood education and curriculum development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum qualification: Associate Degree or equivalent in Education or related field
• At least 4 years of relevant experience working within an EYFS setting
• Strong understanding of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Proven leadership skills with experience in curriculum development and staff management
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience with international school environments
• Competent in using technology for administrative tasks and learning support
• Proactive approach towards professional growth and development
• Strong understanding of Islamic values and Western educational practices
