The Opportunity:

As the Head of MOE, you will lead and supervise key departments, ensuring academic excellence and compliance with UAE curriculum standards. This role is central to maintaining a high standard of education and supporting the school’s mission to deliver quality learning for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Arabic, Islamic, and Social Studies departments
• Ensure curriculum compliance and academic excellence in line with MOE requirements
• Support teacher development, performance evaluation, and professional growth
• Coordinate with school leadership and MOE to meet regulatory and inspection standards
• Prepare for MOE inspections and implement improvement plans
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community
• Drive initiatives that enhance student wellbeing and personal development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (Head of Department or similar)
• Professional Teaching License approved by the Ministry of Education
• Strong knowledge of the UAE curriculum and MOE inspection framework
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills (IELTS 5.5 score)

Preferred

• Experience in managing large teams or leading academic departments
• Demonstrated success in improving academic outcomes and student performance
• Familiarity with international education standards and best practices
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
