The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Inclusion Leader, you will play a key role in driving inclusion across Key Stage 3 and supporting students through to Key Stage 4 and 5. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of education and make a meaningful impact on student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistently outstanding teaching and learning experiences, using student data to personalise learning and optimise progress.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of inclusion leadership and practice across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including alternative pathways.
  • Ensure effective and rigorous assessment, recording, and reporting of students’ provision, progress and attainment.
  • Be committed to the safeguarding and personal and social development of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, students, parents and outside agencies using excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute to the school community through active involvement in extra-curricular activities and events.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities and stay informed on current UK best practice and research.
  • Work effectively within a high-performing team and support the school’s strategic growth plan.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS.
  • Proven experience in inclusion leadership and teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Commitment to the pursuit of excellence for all learners, including those with additional needs and English Language learners.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, recording and reporting practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading inclusion initiatives or alternative pathways.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and learning with a creative and innovative approach.
  • Experience in a high-performance school environment.
  • Passion for working with diverse student populations.
