Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports young learners
  • Plan and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to the needs of individual children
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support student growth
  • Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through creative and interactive learning activities
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of children in line with safeguarding procedures
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to deliver a cohesive and integrated curriculum
  • Encourage children to take an active role in their own learning and development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for young learners
  • Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

Preferred

  • Experience working with young children in an early years setting
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures relevant to early years education
  • Experience with child development and play-based learning approaches
  • Interest in continuous professional development and collaborative teaching
