As an EYFS Classroom Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the early educational experiences of children aged 3-5. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports young learners
- Plan and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to the needs of individual children
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support student growth
- Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through creative and interactive learning activities
- Ensure the well-being and safety of children in line with safeguarding procedures
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to deliver a cohesive and integrated curriculum
- Encourage children to take an active role in their own learning and development
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for young learners
- Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
Preferred
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures relevant to early years education
- Experience with child development and play-based learning approaches
- Interest in continuous professional development and collaborative teaching
