The Opportunity:
A Reception Teacher (EYFS) is needed to deliver a strong, inspiring curriculum with a focus on early phonics and mathematics. This role offers a supportive and ambitious environment for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a rich and academically strong Reception curriculum
- Implement and support the Read Write Inc. phonics and White Rose maths programmes
- Foster confident, curious and capable learners through engaging and structured learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute positively to the school’s ethos and wider community
- Reflect on and improve teaching practice through continuous professional development
- Maintain high expectations and drive for exceptional pupil outcomes
- Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Minimum 1 year’s teaching experience
- Strong understanding of EYFS pedagogy and early child development
- Ability to deliver engaging and structured learning experiences
- Commitment to high expectations and exceptional outcomes
Preferred
- Experience with Read Write Inc. phonics or White Rose maths
- Experience in early years education
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to school life and community
- Reflective and ambitious approach to professional growth
