The Opportunity:

A Reception Teacher (EYFS) is needed to deliver a strong, inspiring curriculum with a focus on early phonics and mathematics. This role offers a supportive and ambitious environment for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a rich and academically strong Reception curriculum
  • Implement and support the Read Write Inc. phonics and White Rose maths programmes
  • Foster confident, curious and capable learners through engaging and structured learning experiences
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute positively to the school’s ethos and wider community
  • Reflect on and improve teaching practice through continuous professional development
  • Maintain high expectations and drive for exceptional pupil outcomes
  • Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum 1 year’s teaching experience
  • Strong understanding of EYFS pedagogy and early child development
  • Ability to deliver engaging and structured learning experiences
  • Commitment to high expectations and exceptional outcomes

Preferred

  • Experience with Read Write Inc. phonics or White Rose maths
  • Experience in early years education
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to school life and community
  • Reflective and ambitious approach to professional growth
