Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a range of curriculum areas, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative STEAM-related initiatives.
- Support and mentor other teachers, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted interventions where needed.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align curriculum goals with school-wide priorities.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to promote a shared vision for student achievement.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities within the school and broader educational networks.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in primary education.
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for STEAM subjects.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a curriculum area effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum leadership or development.
- Familiarity with THEP or the Unity CUSP curriculum.
- Experience in cross-curricular teaching and learning.
- Background in or interest in oracy and spoken language development.
