Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a range of curriculum areas, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative STEAM-related initiatives.
  • Support and mentor other teachers, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted interventions where needed.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align curriculum goals with school-wide priorities.
  • Engage with parents and the wider community to promote a shared vision for student achievement.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities within the school and broader educational networks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in primary education.
  • Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for STEAM subjects.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a curriculum area effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum leadership or development.
  • Familiarity with THEP or the Unity CUSP curriculum.
  • Experience in cross-curricular teaching and learning.
  • Background in or interest in oracy and spoken language development.
