The Opportunity:

Join a school's Early Years team as an EYFS Teacher, shaping the learning experiences of children aged 1–3 years. This role is central to fostering early development, wellbeing, and curiosity through engaging, play-based learning aligned with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports early childhood development.
  • Monitor, assess, and record children’s progress using effective tracking systems.
  • Build strong relationships with families and maintain clear, consistent communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider Early Years provision and ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Proven experience teaching children aged 1–3 years within an EYFS setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early language acquisition.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with bilingual or international education settings.
  • Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and international teaching standards.
  • Experience in early years safeguarding and child protection practices.
