Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physical education lessons across all key stages, promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
  • Develop and implement engaging sports and physical activity programs that align with the British National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student well-being and academic success through co-curricular activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.
  • Participate actively in the co-curricular life of the school, including sports events and extracurricular programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in physical education and school sports.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honours degree from a British or Spanish university, or equivalent.
  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification in Physical Education.
  • Recent experience as a PE teacher in a UK school, with preference for independent or international schools following the British curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • High expectations of student behaviour and performance.
  • Native-level English proficiency.
  • Willingness to undergo child protection screening.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Spanish or other languages.
  • Experience in developing and managing school sports programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
