We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality teaching that supports academic progress, emotional security, and independence for all pupils. This role offers the potential for leadership development and a supportive, dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, teach and assess engaging lessons in line with the English, Welsh or Scottish curriculum.
• Teach phonics using Read Write Inc.
• Differentiate effectively to support SEND, EAL and high-attaining pupils.
• Contribute to subject development and, where applicable, lead a core subject across EYFS and KS1.
• Uphold high standards of safeguarding, behaviour and professional conduct.
• Support the transition of students to the next stage of their education.
• Engage in extracurricular activities such as music, drama and P.E.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages respect, effort and friendship.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven KS1 teaching experience.
• Strong curriculum knowledge and commitment to high standards.
• Experience or interest in middle leadership.

Preferred

• Experience with Read Write Inc phonics.
• Experience working with SEND or EAL students.
• Familiarity with international education settings.
