Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality early years education in line with EYFS standards.
  • Plan and implement engaging and creative lesson plans tailored to young learners.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support children’s development and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
  • Promote a positive and safe learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
  • Early Years or Early Childhood Degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an early years setting.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Previous experience in a school or nursery setting.
