The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care to young children.
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a warm and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Work closely with the Early Years team to support the overall educational and developmental goals of the nursery.
  • Ensure all health and safety policies are followed at all times.
  • Keep accurate records of children’s progress and communicate regularly with parents.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training to ensure continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 qualification or Early Years / Early Childhood Degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Commitment to high standards and a passion for early years education.

Preferred

  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and play-based learning.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Flexibility to work term time and willingness to go above and beyond.
