The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative early literacy and numeracy lessons.
  • Manage and lead a small class of 3-4 year olds in a supportive and stimulating environment.
  • Plan and implement a dynamic and creative curriculum that promotes holistic development.
  • Incorporate the use of ICT to enhance learning and engagement.
  • Work closely with specialist staff in music, drama, and physical education.
  • Support children in developing individual potential through tailored learning experiences.
  • Participate in weekly forest school sessions and other enrichment activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong communication and team-working skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and be highly organised.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering a creative and dynamic curriculum.
  • Knowledge of innovative use of ICT in early years education.
  • Experience working in a school with a strong focus on personal development and engagement.
