The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Class Teacher to join our team and contribute to the continued success of a school rated as good by Ofsted. This role offers the chance to work across key stages and to be part of a supportive, innovative, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and/or Key Stage 2
- Create an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment that motivates children and supports their progress
- Plan and implement engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support continuous professional development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers
- Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and well-being
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the school community
- Support the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience of teaching in Early Years, Key Stage 1, and/or Key Stage 2
- Strong record of improving student progress and achievement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to working as part of a team and supporting the school's vision
- Ability to manage a class effectively and ensure high-quality provision
Preferred
- Experience with inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction
- Experience in leading or supporting professional development
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom
- Experience in working with children from diverse backgrounds
